HOW MUCH IS THE COURSE?

$12. This includes everything: the course, the test (unlimited chances to pass), and DMV processing.

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?

6 hours. This is the mandated time for the New Jersey Defensive Driver course.

WHAT ABOUT FEES FOR MISTAKES?

I'm glad you asked! If you make a mistake on your profile, then I have to go into the system and manually resubmit your information. For this, I charge $10. I have put check boxes on the profile intake form to prevent mistakes, as the most common mistakes are a wrong date of birth, license number and address. I would rather not have the hassle, and so I make this easier for you.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

It's easy!

  1. Click the button that says Enter the Course, and you will be taken to a page to create your profile. You will be sent a confirmation email, and you must click on that link to enter the course.

  2. Take the course at your own pace, and take the test as many times as you need to pass. Come and go as you please. There is no time limit, and you will not lose any time accrued.

  3. When the test is done, your success will be reported automatically, and you will be given a link to print or download your certificate immediately. The link will be apparent.

I CAN'T FIND MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL! IT WAS NEVER SENT TO ME!

The reasons this happens are as follows:

      1. You need to wait a moment and refresh your email.
      2. It may have been filtered into your spam folder.
      3. You created your account with a wrong email.

Refresh your email after 5 minutes and check your spam box. If you still do not see it, try to create another profile, and be VERY CAREFUL that your email is entered correctly.

CAN YOU RESEND ME A CONFIRMATION EMAIL?

No, it is automated and it is something we simply are not able to do. If you do not see it, let us know and we will manually confirm your account.

I PASSED THE COURSE BUT THE DMV CANNOT FIND ME IN THEIR SYSTEM.

Your success is sent to the DMV automatically at the end of the same day that you passed the course. The DMV was notified. If they cannot find you, it is because you entered your information incorrectly. Look at your profile, and contact me at CustomerCare@12DollarNewJerseyDriver.com. Note that there is a $10 fee for the reprocessing, as I have to manually do it for you. This is why I have a check box on the signup form to assure your information is correct.

DO I HAVE TO TAKE THE COURSE ALL IN ONE SITTING? CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?

Come and go as you please. There is no time limit on taking the course. You keep all of the time you have already spent in the course, so you lose nothing by leaving and then returning later. Also, you get unlimited chances to pass the test.
